Hand processed ash pendant etched with the ancient ogham aicme (or letter) Nuin, which makes the material true to its name. Long associated with the spear and battle, the sacred ash tree stands for courage, fire, strength and focus. A key to endurance and vitality in relation to its solar masculine energy. In Ireland, the ash was considered part of the trilogy of sacred trees, alongside oak and hawthorn.

Unfortunately, these trees were victim to the Christian takeover in the British Isles and often cut down, as they were deeply ingrained in Celtic pagan belief systems.
